From Coming Soon:

Here is your first glimpse at what appears to be Johnny Depp as he’ll look in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. Depp is playing the Mad Hatter and he’ll appear alongside co-stars Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Sheen, Mia Wasikowska, Matt Lucas, Crispin Glover, Stephen Fry and Alan Rickman.

Burton’s latest is written by Linda Woolverton and based on the Lewis Carroll classic “Alice in Wonderland.” The film will combine performance-capture imagery, currently seen in Beowulf, with live-action footage. Look for it in theaters on March 5, 2010.

Hmmm. I’ve never been a big Tim Burton fan. I think he did a good job with the Batman Series, but to me his movies have a similar pattern and are a little too over the top for my taste.

hey suffernchessclub . . what are you talking about ? ? ?? that “similar pattern” you’re talking about is his “signature style” or something like that . . all directors have them . . tim burton’s sig style is very unique that no other directors,i think, can reproduce them . . so you might seem to notice them only in his films . .

    tim burton’s film are awesome . .

especially his ’signature style’ which is his mastery in making a “dark” and “gothic” feel in his movies . . really stands out from other directors . .
