This New York artist’s exploration of light and shadow has lead to performances, installations and this winsome alternative to an oil lamp–or yet another candle. The farther the lumen is from the wall, the larger the shadow from the acid-etched form. As the flame flickers, the soft shadow moves about organically. Frank’s lumen is fashioned from a stainless steel body with a polyethylene base to prevent scratching sensitive surfaces. Comes with two 17-hour liquid wax fuel cells.
