Pink & Sarah McLachlan Sing ‘Angel’ While Pink Goes Solo On ‘Sober’

Kind of a WTF moment, but they both have beautiful voices. I’m not entirely sure how this song got on the awards show but it showcased some stunning vocal talent.

Join Me In Boycotting Turkey & K-Mart This Thanksgiving

kmartThe turkey part is obvious but I’m rather certain that Sarah Palin will having something to do with the latter as well.  Anyhow, who really needs to go to K-Mart on Thanksgiving?  They’ll be open if you absolutely have to go, but shouldn’t we protest on behalf of the people who have to deal with the blue light special drama every other day of the year?  Give them a break!

Miley Cyrus Performs At The AMAs

Yeah, I don’t think I’m legally allowed to post anything of this nature, and for once I’m thankful for with my personal fear of ever falling into a ‘To Catch A Predator’ category.  Anyhow, enjoy this spoof from The Soup instead:

Amy Winehouse, Soon-To-Be Single?

According to the News of the World, Amy Winehouse is about to be single. Single and dangerous, out on the town to score some man-meat and by man-meat, I mean white stuff. I kid, I kid. If he (Blake Fielder-Civil) was part of her enabling system then I say, “To the left, to the left, everything you own in the box to the left.”

Read the article here.

amy-and-blakeThe lovely couple in happier times. Sadness.

Ne-Yo Represents At The AMAs

Ne-Yo breaks off a little medley from his most recent album “Year of the Gentleman”.  Is it OK to let it out that I know all the words to every song?  Really, the album is that good!

Watch this: “Kim’s Breakdown – Videos – Bravo TV“, posted with vodpod

I’m not sure how to take this one, is she serious or is it a lie? She did or didn’t have cancer, or they thought she did but she didn’t “go that route”?

I be confrused.

You never know what will happen when Rosie takes the stage with stars such as Alec Baldwin, Alanis Morrissette, Jane Krakowski, Ne-Yo, Liza Minnelli, Rachael Ray, Harry Connick Jr., Clay Aiken, Gloria Estefan, and Kathy Griffin. In addition to these celebrity appearances, Rosie will introduce America to amazing new performers like the tap-dancing Lombard Twins and the unique speciality performers of Anti-Gravity. Top Box Office: ‘Twilight’ Takes a Bite Out of the Competition

I had make a silly title, isn’t that how it’s done? Anyway, people ignored the so-so reviews of Twilight and catapulted it to the top of the Box Office.

From Reuters:

“Twilight,” the vampire romance that has spurred feverish anticipation among young female moviegoers, took a bigger-than-expected $70.55 million bite out of the weekend box office in North America, according to studio estimates issued on Sunday.

Last weekend’s champion, the James Bond outing “Quantum of Solace,” slipped to No. 2 with $27.4 million.

“Bolt,” a Walt Disney Co canine cartoon that made its debut at No. 3 with a disappointing $27 million.

Spare a Turkey, and Here’s Why

After watching the Sarah Palin interview where turkeys are slaughtered right in plain view of the camera, it got me thinking (again) about not having turkey for Thanksgiving. Here’s the thing, I don’t really love vegetables and I need a good deal of protein, so what is a picky eater to do? I’m not sure, but I’ll let you know what I find out. In the meantime, here’s an interesting article that I found on why you may want to consider skipping the turkey dinner for your holiday.

If you are looking for alternatives, check out www.VegCooking.com for some tasty alternatives that will allow the turkeys to give thanks this Holiday season along with you and your family. Again, it still doesn’t fully answer my question, but the search continues.
