Go Mikey Go!

Being only 2 degrees of separation from Selma, I fell almost like I’m part of the party.  I’m soooo excited to see that my boi Mikey Day has got him a fine piece of crazy both on and off the set of Kath & Kim (one of the most underrated shows currently on TV).

MyTrainerBob.com

biggest-loserWhat an opportune time for some product placement of a great resource for healthy living!  The Biggest Loser Family Cookbook is probably something I wouldn’t have purchased myself because I kind of classify it as semi-gimmicky, but I am completely wrong on this one.  It has a multitude of recipes that are quick, economical, and actually delicious.

Additionally, Botox Bob has launched a blog with all kinds of tips and tricks that provide support, ideas, and motivation.  Personally, I hope this will 86 those little mini-videos of doing butt crunches at work or Xerox Yoga that are always posted on MSN.com.  Indeed, I’m a bit cynical about the practicality of some of The Biggest Loser theories, but I have also never lost 5% of my body weight in a single week.

A Little Baby Momma Drama On NBC

Being plugged as “The Most Anticipated Show of the Year” is a bit of a stretch, and I may just have to “Call Goldberg -800 600 6014” to see if I can’t scratch up a little Truth in Advertising Settlement against Momma’s Boy to hold me over for 2009!

Khalood Bojanowski is the epitome of nicesty.  She’s lucky that this show was on NBC and not a spin off of Mean Girls; nothing makes my holiday complete like a good ol’ fashioned BEAT DOWN!

I’ve got $20 that she’s sportin’ a Palin bumper sticker.

Chad Faust Needs A New Agent

Typecasting based upon a single performance is one thing, but Chad, you really need to get a new agent.  How many times can you play a role where you have some freakish ability or get f**ked?  The 4400, Heroes, Saved!, Decent – What’s next, Sci-fi Porn?

John Krasinski – Where Are Your Flaws?

Do something productive for the first minute, but then give John his props for an impromptu holiday performance.

How adorable can one guy be?
It makes me sick!

My White House Policy – Smoke ‘Em If You Got ‘Em!

WASHINGTONPresident-elect Barack Obama said you won’t catch him lighting up a cigarette in the smoke-free White House.

Asked in an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press” whether he has kicked the habit, the president-elect admits there are times when he’s “fallen off the wagon.” But he adds under the circumstances, he thinks he’s “done a terrific job” of making himself “much healthier.”

What’s the big deal if Obama wanted to puff a stogie in the White House?  The place isn’t white as an expression of virtue or anything.  Need I remind you, he is the cool president?

T.I. Swags It Out For NBC

TIP, I was OK with your cameo on Chelsea Lately and Sesame Street, but I’m not sure how I feel about you promoting for NBC.  It’s not b/c I don’t want you to get the limelight you deserve however I just think it looks like you may be on a ‘needy’ paper chase prior to serving those two days for what-had-happened.

On the posi-tip, I bet they won’t bump your performance time for Bumbershoot in 2010.

Rosie’s Variety Show Grows

From the official NBC site:

Live! Rosie’s Variety Show

Wednesday, November 26, 8/7c

The always entertaining Rosie O’Donnell is bringing the classic variety show back to NBC! Just as Ed Sullivan, Carol Burnett and ROWAN & MARTIN’S LAUGH-IN, captivated the hearts of audiences across the country, the unpredictable Rosie O’Donnell will bring that grand tradition to a whole new level!

This live, one-hour special will feature an array of celebrity guests, musical performances and comedic skits. You never know what will happen when Rosie takes the stage with stars such as Alec Baldwin, Alanis Morrissette, Jane Krakowski, Ne-Yo, Liza Minnelli, Rachael Ray, Harry Connick Jr., Clay Aiken, Gloria Estefan, and Kathy Griffin. In addition to these celebrity appearances, Rosie will introduce America to amazing new performers like the tap-dancing Lombard Twins and the unique speciality performers of Anti-Gravity. But that’s not all. . .since it’s the night before Thanksgiving, Rosie also has several surprises in store for the in-studio and at home audience!

Rosie will kick off the hour doing what she does best — sounding off about current events, pop culture and whatever is on her mind. From there, anything can happen as Rosie, her celebrity friends and fans sing, dance, and laugh in a primetime variety show like no other.

Fall Into The Gap – 2008 Holiday Ads

The annual Gap print ads are ready, and they’re good!  I’m sure once their commercials start and I can’t get away from that ‘Best Time of the Year’ propaganda then I’ll once again flip flop and change my opinion some.

Additionally, their website is primed and ready to go! Lot’s of artists and actors goofing around:  Romany Malco, Jason Biggs, Janelle Monae (my boo!), Flo-Rida, Sandra Bernhard, Selma Blair, and many others…

Anyhow, here’s a look at what to expect this year (arranged in order of my personal preference)!

The Best 30 Minutes Of My Week!

I don’t know what it is about seeing a whole batch of Ambush Makeover recipients, but I just feel so uplifted and encouraged.  It’s more than just seeing these ladies put together, looking their best, and thinking about the potential that’s hidden within a few of my friends.  There’s something about the hope of instant transformation.  I imagine many of these ladies were likely complacent and indifferent to their circumstance and then in the twinkling of a commercial break they were rejuvenated into completely different people.

So if you have a few minutes and would like to share in the moment, check out the best thing that has ever come out of the today show:   What Happened to Grandma?

Short on Time?  I’ve got a few pics for you after the jump…
