Madonna + ‘Glee’ = Perfection

As you may have heard, the hit show Glee is going to have an entire Madonna episode. Yep, that’s right! It isn’t yet clear if M will make a guest appearance in the episode, but the anticipation is building nonetheless. Reportedly, the song list is as follows:

Open Your Heart
Burning Up
4 Minutes
Crazy For You
Like A Virgin
Like A Prayer
What It Feels Like For A Girl
Express Yourself

Borderline and Open Your Heart are actually mixed into one song as sort of a medley while all the other songs are performed in full or in an edit version. All songs’ arrangements are inspired by the album original versions of the songs except for Express Yourself, inspired by the famous “Video Version” and Crazy For You which is presented as an exclusive acoustic guitar version.(source)

A $.75 BJ Can Get You 90 Days

car-wash-vacIf you feel amorous towards the local carwash vacuum, it could be a cheap thrill – if you don’t get caught that is.

Do you remember that story of a man who tried to do just that, but then got arrested for penetrating an inanimate object? OK, I jest, but he was arrested for indecent exposure and was just sentenced to 90 days in jail. I wonder what he’ll feel like with someone putting tender in his coin slot. Yeah, that was a groaner – it’s early.

More Gays Kicked Out of the Army – WTF?

I found this little tidbit on Towleroad and it’s pretty perplexing, yet I’m not shocked. What does shock me is that our country is still doing this, it’s crazy to me! I’m good enough to pay taxes, pay for kids and education that I can’t necessarily have easy access to (the kids part), but yet I can’t serve my country if I want? Soooo messed up.

Here’s a video of former Army Sergeant Darren Manzella’s message about “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and information on the rally tomorrow, which will be held at the U.S. Capital at noon.

Madonna Breaks More Records

With the completion of Madonna’s final show in Sao Paulo Brazil last evening – one of eleven record-breaking performances in South America – the ‘Material Girl’s’ ‘Sticky & Sweet’ Tour reigns supreme by becoming the Number One Largest Grossing Tour in history by a solo artist, it was confirmed today by Live Nation, the tour’s international producer. Her 58 shows in Europe, the US, Canada, Mexico and South America played for a staggering 2,350,282 million fans and sold over (USD)280,000,000 in tickets. ‘Madonna has yet again demonstrated her true global appeal as a live performer whether in stadiums or arenas. Not only will this tour be the top selling tour of all time for a solo artist and a female artist (eclipsing her own record), but it will position her as one of the top selling touring artists of all time’ said Arthur Fogel, Live Nation’s Chairman of Global Music and CEO of Global Touring. Looks Who’s Back, Shady’s Back

Eminem has revealed details of his long-awaited new album, “Relapse,” in an exclusive interview with Billboard, conducted via email. The set is due next spring from Shady/Interscope.

Eminem is working on “Relapse” with longtime collaborator Dr. Dre, who put his own album, “Detox,” on the backburner to help bring the project to completion.

“Me and Dre are back in the lab like the old days, man,” Eminem says. “Just him banging away on tracks and me getting that little spark that makes me write to it. I don’t have chemistry like that with anyone else as far as producers go — not even close. Dre will end up producing the majority of the tracks on Relapse.’ We are up to our old mischievous ways … let’s just leave it at that.”

A handful of songs intended for “Relapse” have leaked online, most recently “Crack a Bottle,” leaving Eminem “really heated. It wasn’t close to finished, and it even has me doing guide vocals for Dre as a suggestion of how he could lay his verses down. It’s like someone catches you peeping in your window before you got the Spider Man costume all zipped up! Nobody is supposed to see that. We are gonna finish it up though and get it out there how it’s supposed to be.”

“My Neck, My Back, My Neck and My Back!”

Maybe it wasn’t as dramatic as my favorite scene from Friday, but once again those dang Austrians know how to one-up a performance.  With all their Outback commercials and wallabies, you’d think they’d have enough going on right now, but who knows what is really going on?

Daniel Hovels, member of the Thalia Theater company, used a real knife during a suicide scene in Schiller’s ‘Maria Stuart’ in Austria this week.

AP VIENNA – An actor’s suicide scene became a little too real for comfort when he accidentally stabbed himself in the neck during a performance at an Austrian theater.  Thalia said Thursday that the original prop knife was damaged and that instructions to blunt the replacement had been “carelessly” disregarded.

Honest Mistake, Disability Scheme, Or Dedicated Actor?
Ezal that is – Daniel’s a goof!

All Is Forgiven, W!

Well since you said ‘Sorry’, I guess I forgive you.  But you’ve got to promise that you’ll never mention that ‘do-over’ craziness eva, eva, eva again!

Other interesting quotes from a recent interview with ABC:

  • “I’m sure some people voted for Barack Obama because of me…”
  • “I can’t guarantee that we’ll get all our money back, but it’s conceivable we could.”
  • “I think when the history of this period is written, people will realize a lot of the decisions that were made on Wall Street took place over a decade or so.”

So essentially, the economic condition is not his fault, we can hope in one hand and poop in the other, and he helped elect Barack.  Alright – NEXT!

The Right To Bare Arms

Read the Story:   Florida nudists want their own clothing-optional polling site

I support anything that will help the voters of Florida get their shid together.  If nothing else, there will be a different kind of funny business going on rather than the normal chad chase!
