Vegas Update – Lindsay & Samantha Are ‘PURE’

We were walking through the hotel and saw that Lindsay Lohan was being advertised as having an appearance at PURE Nightclub in Caesars Palace here in Vegas, with special DJ Samantha Ronson. I always like the support the sistas you know, so I decided to check it out. It was interesting because we had gotten VIP passes earlier in the evening but when we came back to the hotel/club after venturing out to a few bars (one being 8 1/2, you can figure that one out), there were swarms of people. It was a very velvet-rope experience where people are trying to get picked by the security to come in, that kind of thing. Well, we three gents had those “VIP passes” but more importantly, we flashed a little green to the guy and voila, we got in.

I half expected it to be all hype without it actually being cool, but it was AMAZING. Maybe 4 dance floors, multiple levels, you could actually get drinks, all that good stuff. It was PACKED though and full of the beautiful people. Ladies, I have to say that I’m glad I’m gay cause you all were bitches! But I digress. There was a dude on the roof doing magic, there were little cabana type booths where you could rent an area for $475/bottle (think Grey Goose) with a 4 bottle minimum – they then provide the mixers and ice. Worth it? For a big enough group, it could be really be fun even though it’s still expensive. Overall, I was really impressed with the vibe, the design, all that stuff. The hype was real, and I was really hyped. And drunk. 

All this leads me to this video I found of Lindsay and Sam at PURE and it just felt so weird to actually be there. Too bad I wasn’t the dude dancing up on Lindsay at the end, now THAT would’ve been a good story.
